Chapter 7: Seeing God’s Light in Others

Scripture to Reflect On:
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” —Galatians 6:2
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me…to bind up the brokenhearted.” —Isaiah 61:1

Reflection:
During this season of my life, I met people from all walks of life—each carrying their own burdens, their own stories. What amazed me most was the light I saw within them, even when their struggles were heavy and their hearts broken.

Darkness lingered like clouds rolling in, but there was always a rainbow awaiting—just like when Jesus calmed the storms. Some of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever encountered have been broken, and it is in their brokenness that God’s grace shines brightest.

Meeting them reminded me that we are all reflections of God’s light, capable of love, resilience, and hope, no matter our scars.

Genesis 1:14-18: "God said, 'Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons, days, and years; and let them be for lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth,' and it was so."

“write 3 things about your Faith and love in a love that endures forever. come gently quietly. this is the peace you have always needed. find rest in the surrender of Jesus. may he rest your head and be there through it all a calm call that isn’t forced but now you feel reborn”

a simple message to god the maker of the heavens in every molecule. Jesus is the “light of the world” he Brings us a deep surrender that

can’t be earnt or taken away god loves you let him be your tree of life. like your heart. your heart is like a growing root each day 100.000 beats per minute ever beat is a message from god that he loves you. and he was always there even when you did not know he was. he was there leading you through flames a fire that is your qualification that shaped you be pure, renewed and brand new in Jesus Christ our loving saviour.

christ is the way, the truth, the light of your life. 2000 years ago by the blood he gave his life. god so loved the world. he gave his son that overcame the world. his was sacrificed for our salvation and has one day risen to be return. not even the son of god knows but the lord the alpha and the omega. Jesus will come back when god calls upon his name.

Message: Lord, thank you for that time I first felt your presence, when I was 15. You came to me while I was praying, and I had never experienced a love so pure and good. I was ridiculed when I told someone in my family, but Lord they didn't understand. I went away from you for a time after that but I never forgot, and I eventually found my way back to You. i can never forget, and I don't want to turn away again, so I spend time with you every day and just feel, because You already know my thoughts. I thank you for the Word, that gives me comfort, wisdom and strengthens my faith in You. Your love keeps me faithful. I will always remember and persevere in your love. The world's love fails but the Lord's never does.

Message: Thank you God, for working through me. You have blessed me with 2 beautiful children and have guided me throughout my parenting journey. you have taught me patience, resilience, trust, and how to loose myself to create myself again. You have worked through me from a young girl and now to my career. You gave me an empethetic heart and a desire to support people. I am grateful for you and I pray you continue to work through me as a mother, a wife, and a support person.

God you have not been with me for a long period in my life, I was born catholic, but shed away when I was 16 years old. That was my first big mistake! My Life been full of highs and lows.

The thing that I failed to take notice of is, I was making myself happy, not caring for our. creator god.

Who should foremost front our lives.

I tried to rely on myself to create a perfect life.

I failed miserably, that’s what god can do, take things/ away from you.

you need to surrender your life to God. and he will guide you to do a better life.
